White Chapel Gallery

This exhibition design brief is part of a larger proposal developed during my time at Sotheby’s, London. The project was shaped by commercial constraints, including the need to source the entire collection within the U.K. to manage transport logistics, insurance, and cost. The brief outlines the spatial concept, gallery selection, and physical experience, designed in response to the collection’s themes. Mood boards included in the proposal reflect visual inspirations drawn from global exhibitions. Curved walls in Gallery 1 and parts of Gallery 2 symbolize the complexities of personal growth, gradually transitioning to rigid forms as visitors complete their journey and exit the space. Additional experiential details are annotated throughout the proposed plan.
